BREAKING NEWS: Hazmat team on scene of incident in Town of Stettin – WSAW

TOWN OF STETTIN, Wis. (WSAW) –

Sherifff’s deputies tell NewsChannel 7 one person was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a chemical leak outside of Wausau.

Multiple fire departments and the Hazmat team were called to the Central Transport, a shipping company just after 5:30 with the report of a leak from a 250-gallon drum.

It was stopped and there’s no danger to the public, according to deputies. The scene has been contained to the building and parking lot.

Now, the hazmat team is trying to determine exactly what spilled.
